The Best Lenses For Better Than 20/20 Vision-Zeiss Individual i.Scription
Although our eyes are theoretically capable of 20/6 vision (nearly 3X better than 20/20), current conventional eyeglasses limit most of us to 20/20 vision. With our newest wavefront technology we are able to collect a “fingerprint” of your eye and customize lenses to your unique measurements. These are the most precise ophthalmic lenses ever made. Conventional lenses are manufactured to 1/4 of a diopter while i.Scription lenses are digitally surfaced to 1/100 of a diopter. Through greater precision and wavefront aberration compensation these lenses enhance color, improve contrast, and minimize glare for the best day and nighttime vision possible.
In Office Lab
Most of our eyeglasses are made right in our own office. We have a large inventory of single vision lenses in standard plastic (CR-39) as well as some high index lenses (polycarbonate and 1.67 index) for higher prescriptions. If we do not have your prescription in stock, then standard ready to pick up time for single vision prescriptions is one to two days.
